Developed a distributed scalable prototype of Grub Hub application enabling customers to order food online and message restaurant owners for any order related queries. Optimized API performance by 3x for real-time data by adding GraphQL concepts of queries and mutations. Technologies: ReactJS, NodeJS, ExpressJS, MongoDB, Redux, Apache Kafka, AWS EC2, GraphQL.

Deduplication of Data on Cloud Storage

A web application implemented using Java demonstrating deduplication of data on cloud storage.

Created a project by designing and implementing a text compression algorithm employing hash index tables and deployed deduplication application to AWS by leveraging Elastic Beanstalk and EC2. Achieved a compression metric of up to 16-18% of text files by use of variable chunking text methods and hosting application on EC2 instance.

Ticketing Marketplace

An e-commerce application where users can buy and sell different types of tickets.

Built a scalable server-side rendered application for a ticketing marketplace using Microservices architecture. Implemented and published a NPM module that provided reuse of the code between the designed services. Utilized NATS streaming server for event-driven communication among different services. Containerized all the services using Docker and Kubernetes.
